Head To Foxtrot, Khan Market For A Satiating Culinary Experience

Khan market in Delhi houses some of the most admirable food havens of the city. The plush market has been riveting the most discerning shoppers and eaters for decades, and has not lost its harm till date. Joining the slew of eateries lining up the narrow bylanes of the area is another fabulous joint that only raises the stock of the ever-popular Khan market. Foxtrot, the newly opened restaurant in the middle of the buzzing marketplace started pulling the crowds as soon as it opened. The swish restaurant promises to give you an exceptional culinary experience; and we can't help but completely agree with them.

Foxtrot claims to be India's first Hybrid Cafe and calls itself “The Great New Third Place” – after your ‘home' and ‘office'. The restaurant dishes out some fabulous hybrid or fusion foods, which smartly blur the line between traditional and contemporary.

The thirst-wrenching beverages of Foxtrot are all you need to unwind during or after a tiring day. Passion fruit Punch and Watermelon & Bubbles mocktails will refresh you in a jiffy. If you are seeking a little buzz, then try out any of their cocktails.

Fox Style Pav Bhaji

The vast food menu leaves you spoilt for choice. If you can't decide, blindly go for Fox-Style Pao Bhaji served with puffy baby pao and crispy chips alongside  a sizeable bowl of flavoursome bhaji. Don't forget to order their Kulchas Platter - a mix of Amritsari Kulcha, Three Cheese  Kulcha and Beetroot Kulcha. Served with a range of condiments, this dish charged up our appetite further. Sri Lankan Prawns, Mutton Seekh Tawa Masala and Tandoori Fish Tikka are other must-try starters off the menu.

In the mains, their Afghani Roasted Chicken and Paneer Do Makhan Wala are to die for. Deconstructed Dal Moradabadi served with rice is also good but doesn't really do justice to the actual delicacy served in the region of origin. If you haven't tasted the authentic Moradabadi dal in its elementary form, then you'll like this one. Junglee Maas is another great dish but could do with little more flavours. However, the khamiri roti that it is served with comes out an absolute winner.

The desserts gave the perfect sweet ending to our gastronomical journey. Banoffee Pie and Tiramisu are a not to be missed. If you are a paan lover, then there is Paan Flavour Panacotta for you.
