Italian food is one of the most-loved cuisines in the world. From pizza to lasagna to risotto, the list of lip-smacking traditional foods to try in the Italian streets is endless. Recently, American actor Rainn Wilson, best known for playing Dwight Schrute on NBC's The Office, indulged in Italian food while paying a visit to Florence. On April 22, the 58-year-old star took to his Instagram handle to share a picture of his delicious dinner meal but it was a major The Office reference. In the picture, we can spot a plate half-eaten plate of Spaghetti Aglio e Olio, a mixed salad consisting of carrot ribbons, tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce, and a bowl that seemingly looks filled with Minestrone Soup with burrata cheese and bread.

However, while drooling over our screen, we spotted the cutlery provided to Wilson was actually encased in a Jell-O! That's right! It's just similar to what happened to his character in The Office. Captioning the picture, Wilson wrote, “This is what happened when I ordered room service at my hotel in Florence… @plazahotellucchesi.”

In the pilot episode of The Office, Wilson's character Dwight Schrute is pranked by his co-worker Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) who puts a stapler in a Jell-O. The prank is one of Jim's most loved acts in the series and Wilson's character faced it several times throughout the series.

Take a look at Rainn Wilson's Instagram post below:

Several fans of the show, including former The Office actors, reacted to Rainn Wilson's cutlery being Jell-O'ed.
