Be it a bowl full of butter chicken or some vegetable curry, relishing thick gravy dishes is something we just can't say no to. While having such meals is always wholesome, most of us have a hard time trying to clean the cutlery afterward. The same gravy that satisfies our soul also tends to smear every inch of the spoons, forks, and knives, especially the edges. This can get even more annoying when we leave the used cutlery in the sink for the morning after dinner and the gravy gets dried and hardens up. Not cleaning the spoons properly can be both unhygienic and unpleasant for the next person who uses them. So to ease your struggle, chef Pankaj Bhadouria offered her “special nuskha” to keep your cutlery clean. Take a look at the video that chef shared:

In her latest Instagram Reels, the chef demonstrated the method to deep clean the cutlery. According to her, you need to first take a basket and cover the inside of it using a sheet of aluminum foil. Then spread ½ cup of baking soda on the foil along with 1 tbsp salt. Next, add 1 cup of white vinegar before pouring hot water into the container.

Place the cutlery inside the prepared mixture and leave them for about 15 minutes. Following this, take the spoons and forks out and wash them properly using dishwasher soap. Make sure that you scrub the cutlery well to remove any dirt or leftover food still sticking to it.

Rinse the cutlery well and dry them using a dish towel. It is important that you do not air dry the cutlery as it often leaves water marks on the lustrous spoons and knives. Once the whole process is over, you will definitely be able to see your reflection in the shining new-like cutlery.
