Here Are 3 Tips To Use Avocado In Cooking By Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay:

  1. To Prevent Browning: The celebrity chef suggested slicing the avocado into half and keeping the shell intact. Then, he removed the seed from it and took a lemon wedge in his other hand. Now, Gordon Ramsay squeezed the lemon on top of the avocado's ripe side and there was a reason behind it. The idea was that the lemon juice would keep the avocado from oxidising and thus also keep its fresh, green colour intact!
  2. To Remove Seed: For removing the seed of an avocado, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay's co-anchor, Richard Blais, had a genius hack. What he did was slice the avocado into half, and use a knife to pick out the pit or the seed. Since the seed was quite big, it easily got stuck in the knife and came out without much hassle. But it's important to be very careful while doing this else you could end up cutting yourself. You could also use a chopping board if that is more comfortable.
  3. How To Slice Avocado: Another tip that Gordon Ramsay suggested was about how to slice the avocado. He said that avocado should be diced with the skin intact. Thus, once he sprinkled lemon juice on the avocado slice, he used quick knife movements to make criss-cross cuts inside the avocado. He then used a spoon to scoop out the diced avocado on top of his breakfast dish.
