How To Make Dates Chutney At Home | Dates Chutney Recipe
Making dates chutney at home is quite simple. This recipe was shared on Instagram by digital creator Nitya Hedge (@finefettlecookerys). To make dates chutney, start by taking a bunch of dates, cutting them in half and removing their seeds. Keep them aside. In a pan, heat some oil. Now add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, dry red chilli and curry leaves. Mix them and then add chopped dates to the pan. After giving it a good mix, add a small ball of tamarind on top of other ingredients. Cook it for one minute and then pour in one cup of water. Give it a good mix and cover it with a lid.
After 10-15 minutes, when the dates become mushy, add sambar powder and salt as per your taste levels. Let it cook for another five minutes. Serve hot or cold!
