In the picture that she shared, we could see a bowlful of mixed pulses and dals kept in a bowl. Rujuta Diwekar asked her followers to guess the names of all the pulses in the bowl. "Indian culture has celebrated pulses in various forms - from daily dals to special meals on Navratri as sondals and chana puri halwa. Whatever may be the North-South divide, with pulses, we are all on the same page," wrote celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar in her post.

As for the health benefits of pulses, the nutritionist revealed that pulses could benefit us in more ways than one.
