In a large bowl, mix maida (regular flour), maize/corn flour, besan (gram flour), sugar, salt, baking powder, buttermilk, eggs, oil and honey. Form a smooth batter and ensure there are no lumps. Take chicken sausages (defrost them if they were frozen) and dip them into the batter. Cover them well and then pop them into the hot oil. Deep-fry until they turn golden brown. Drain them on absorbent paper and enjoy hot. You can choose to pierce them with skewers before serving.
