The food experts at The House of Nomad shared a few tips on how to clean prawns:
Take fresh prawns and clean them under tap water.
Make sure you remove the black thread-like spine of the prawns. You may use tooth-pick to take it out easily.

- Keep the head and tail of the prawns intact to make the dish look beautiful.
This recipe includes grilled prawns; but if you do not have tandoor or grill oven, simply roast them on tawa.
Here's The Written Recipe For Butter-Garlic Prawns:
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
8-10 grilled prawns
2 tbsp garlic paste
Chopped parsley to garnish
Salt to taste
Juice of half a lemon
2 tbsp butter
1 butter-garlic bread
Water as required
Method:
Melt butter on a heated pan.
Add garlic paste to it and fry for 1 min.
Add the prawns and water. Saute for a minute
Add parsley and salt.
Finish off with a squeeze of lemon.
Garnish with parsley and serve hot with butter-garlic bread.
