Follow these easy steps to make a khasta masala mini samosa snack:
Step 1 - Knead the dough with 1.5 cups of all-purpose flour and half cup whole wheat flour. Add some salt, ajwain, about 4 tbsp of oil and 1tsp lemon juice.
Step 2 - When the dough starts binding, add water for kneading and prepare the semi-soft dough.
Step 3 - Now, make masala stuffing for the samosa. Grind together 1 cup aloo bhujia, 1 cup moong dal namkeen, half cup namkeen mixture, cashew nuts and some salted peanuts.
Step 4 - Add red chilli powder, chaat masala, some salt and black pepper powder. Give it a few pulses to make a coarse mixture.
Step 5 - Add some raisins (kishmish), schezwan sauce or tomato ketchup, and mix well. Make small balls with the mixture and keep them aside.
Step 6 - Now, roll roti from the dough of medium thickness and cut into diamond-shaped pieces. Apply water on edges and fill with masala balls. Close the ends firmly and deep fry.
