Here Are 5 Effective Tips To Remove Sticky Labels From Jars And Bottles:

1. Soapy water is your best friend

Using hot, soapy water is the easiest way to remove sticky labels from your jars and bottles. There are two ways to use it. You can either fill up a bucket with hot water, add a few drops of liquid soap, and soak them in it. The second option is to directly pour the soapy water into the jars and let it sit there for some time. This will help heat the glue and make it easier for you to remove the labels.

2. Use baking soda and oil

Baking soda is one of the most powerful cleaning agents in our kitchen. Being an alkali, it is quite effective in removing grease and dirt. When mixed with vegetable oil, it helps remove sticky labels from jars and bottles with ease. Mix an equal amount of baking soda and oil and apply it to the label. Let this mixture sit there for some time before scrubbing it off and rinsing with warm water.

3. Make use of your hair dryer

Yes, you can use your hair dryer to get rid of sticky labels as well. Wondering how this is possible? All you have to do is turn your hair dryer to high heat and hold it over the label for a minute or so. The heat of the hair dryer will make the glue on the label dry out, thus making it easier to peel off. In case it doesn't come off, heat the label for a few seconds, and then try again.

4. Use white vinegar

Just like baking soda, white vinegar is a wonderful cleaning ingredient as well. To use it, fill up a bucket with hot water. Then, just add around half a cup of white vinegar to it and mix well. Remove the lids or caps of your jars and bottles and transfer them into the bucket. Allow them to stay inside for about 30 mins before taking them out and rinsing. The acidic properties of white vinegar will remove the peels with ease and make them look as good as new.
