For the unversed, labneh in simple words is a spicy yogurt cheese made with hung curd, olive oil and spices. However, you can customise the ingredients as per the palate, keeping the hung curd constant. This particular Labneh recipe is shared by celebrity chef Anahita Dhondy. "It's a great dish for the days you want something light yet satisfying. The blistered tomatoes poured over a bed of cold yoghurt, is so simple but it's one of those recipes that once you make it, you'll probably end up making again and again for sure," explains Chef Dhondy. Labneh Recipe: How To Make Spicy Mediterranean Yogurt Dip:

For making labneh, we need hung curd, lemon, salt, pepper, garlic, extra virgin olive oils and cherry tomatoes.

To start with, take hung yogurt, lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil in a bowl. Sprinkle pepper on it and whisk well.

Now, in a separate pan, add olive oil, cherry tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Make sure the pan remains hot. Garnish with blistered tomatoes and serve with pita bread. You can also have it with garlic bread or simple roti.
