Remember the school art projects where we had to create a proper craft using lentils and rice grains? While it sounded tedious, it was surely interesting to create an image using glue on paper and then sprinkling different grains on top of it. You must be wondering why, all of a sudden, we are talking about a school craft project. Well, we came across a viral video that might make your artwork look like a cakewalk. The clip was shared by an Instagram art page called Artwork Daily. It shows an artist carving out a rice grain in a 3D creature. Yes, you read it right - a rice grain. Wondering how did he do it? Of course, by using a microscope. Before you see the output, we want to give you a spoiler: it looked a lot like the reptilian monster in the Godzilla franchise.

The clip opens with the artist creating a hole in the tip of the rice grain. Next, he applies glue to the pointy side and inserts it in the hole. All this so that he can get a proper grip on the rice grain. Before beginning with the carvings, he is seen exfoliating the topmost layer of the rice grain to obtain a smooth surface. Once done, he uses a brush to make it even smoother. Then he finally begins the carving. It is nothing less than impressive to see the artist adding the minute details. As the miniature-size Godzilla creature was carved on the grain, the artist also painted it silver. Watch the video below:
