Kulfi is hands down one of the most loved Indian desserts. It is extremely versatile and can be made using a variety of flavours, ranging from traditional ingredients to exotic ones like nuts and saffron. Last month, TasteAtlas, a popular food and travel guide, released a list of the "50 best-rated frozen desserts in the world," and kulfi bagged the 14th spot on the list. Now, award-winning author and chef Eitan Bernath - who is popular for making Indian dishes - channeled his love for this sweet treat. He made a delicious cardamom saffron kulfi, a perfect answer to sweltering summers.

In the video, we could see him using ingredients such as cream, condensed milk, cardamoms, ground cardamom, and saffron. He mixed all the ingredients in a utensil and left it to simmer on low flame. Next, Eitan chopped some pistachios to prepare a crumble and added them into the kulfi mix. He then grabbed some kulfi moulds, poured the mix, and popped them in the freezer for six hours. Once done, he garnished it with saffron and pistachios. "Cardamom saffron kulfi is how I'm beating the heat this sweltering summer! The recipe is from Eitan Eats The World, available everywhere books are sold! #indianfood #desifood #kulfi #cooking #icecream," Eitan Bernath captioned the post. Watch the full video here:
