Dia Mirza took everyone by surprise by announcing her marriage to businessman Vaibhav Rekhi in an intimate ceremony recently. The actor got married to Mumbai-based Rekhi on February 15th, 2021 in her apartment complex with just some of the closest friends and family in attendance. She shared the news officially on Instagram with some beautiful pictures from the ceremony, which has got everyone drooling. As per the stories and posts from the actor, the food at the do was managed by The Moveable Feast, but what caught our eye was an exquisite box of sweets from her hometown Hyderabad, specially curated for her wedding.

Dia Mirza took to her Instagram stories to share a picture of the gleaming sweet box from the popular Imperial Sweet House in Hyderabad while revealing how everyone loved it. She wrote "Everyone loved this incredible flavour of Hyderabad you sent us with so much love @theimperialsweethouse" with a heart emoticon. Take a look:

This has to be one of the most special delicacies to relish at the wedding! When we went through the Instagram account of the sweet house, we found this heart-warming video of a gorgeous 'Badam Ki Jaali' structure made by them for the couple. This pretty heart made of the same mithai they sent for them looks absolutely amazing, don't you think?

Dia had also thanked them on this video expressing how everyone loved the sweets. Turn out this is a speciality of this sweet house in Hyderabad and is known as 'Badam Ki Jaali'. Sounds delicious, doesn't it? The former Miss Asia Pacific has inspired many people with the environmental-friendly, barrier-breaking ceremony she chose for her wedding. Dia revealed how the wedding was completely sustainable without plastics or any waste. In fact, everything used for the décor too was completely biodegradable and natural. One of the biggest take-aways for many from the ceremony was that it was conducted by a woman priest!
