Diljit Dosanjh is a true entertainer, delighting us with his amazing screen presence and lively songs. Off-screen, his goofy personality and witty remarks make him one of the most loved stars. His social media presence also showcases his passion for food and cooking videos, which just keep getting better with time. Recently, Team Diljit shared a video on Instagram where the singer is seen making a hearty breakfast. The text on the video reads, "Valentine: I like guys who can cook. Me:" The video begins with Diljit lip-synching to his song Tension as he makes an omelette in a pan. Next, he makes an avocado dip and spreads it out on a toast. On the table, we could also spot a plate of besan chillas, omelettes, fruits like oranges and blackberries, brown bread and what seems like upma. The side note read, "Valentine Who? Bro Doesn't Even Hesitate."
In his previous Instagram post, Diljit Dosanjh shared a sneak peek from his cooking journey on a "busy day". In the video, the singer was seen placing plates back in the dishwasher before heading out for a shoot. While in his vanity van, he said, "Jaate hi bhook lag gayi" (I was hungry as soon as I left). Diljit, then, tried some blackberries, found them too sour, and remarked, "bahut hi khati hain" (they're very sour). After which, he tasted grapes and proceeded to his shoot. Upon returning home, he mentioned, "firse bhook lag gayi" (I'm hungry again). He shared a glimpse of his whole masalas and started preparing his meal, crushing the spices with a mortar and pestle.
Then, Diljit heated some ghee in a pan, added bay leaves, crushed masala, garlic, onions, and salt, and sauteed them. Next, he added chicken pieces, turmeric, red chilli powder, tomato puree, and more spices, and let it cook with the lid on. The video also showed another pot of chicken simmering on the stove. Diljit also attempted to make a roti, and though its shape wasn't perfect, his effort was impressive. He wrapped the video up by enjoying the chicken curry he prepared and savouring what looked like a traditional Indian dessert. The caption read, "What a busy day baby."
We are in awe of Diljit Dosanjh's food videos and looking forward to more fun recipes.
