When it comes to celebration, the only thing that marks it absolutely complete is a cake. Whether it's an anniversary, birthday or even a work promotion, cakes have a way of making every moment special. And the best part is that cake is extremely versatile, so you can choose shapes and ingredients of your choice. In recent times, as people's creativity has reached another level, we have come across several bizarre cake recipes on the internet. From unconventional cake methods to strange presentation styles, these cakes have a catchy knack that grabs our attention. Talking about unconventional, have you ever come across a cake that has chicken in it? Yes, you read that right! Recently, we came across a bizarre recipe called chicken cake.

In an Instagram reel shared by @dailyhub__, we see the vlogger assembling this bizarre cake. The user starts by combining water, yeast, all-purpose flour (maida), sugar, salt, milk powder, bread softener and oil, in a big bowl and makes a dough. After letting it rest for a while, the user bakes this dough in a round pan at 200°C for 20-25 minutes. In another bowl, the user takes 500 grams of chicken and marinates it in ginger-garlic paste, tikka masala and oil. Post-marination, the user cooks the chicken. Once the baked bread cools down, the user removes the top of the bread and slices it. She then prepares a salad base for the cake combining cabbage, capsicum, carrots, mayonnaise, cream, salt and black pepper. For the first layer, she generously spreads the salad dressing and tops it with cooked chicken and cucumber before adding another slice of bread over it. She repeats the process.
That's not it, once the cake becomes tall enough, she covers it entirely with mayonnaise. Yes, it has been used as an alternative to whipped cream used in normal sweet cakes. To decorate it, the user then pipes the cake with mayonnaise. To make the sides attractive, she covers it with breadcrumbs while the top is lined with shredded carrot and capsicum. Captioning the video, the user wrote, “Mouth-watering chicken cake. You never tasted such amazing cake.”
