Being a street food vendor is unlikely to feature on one's list of dream jobs. But a confession by a panipuri seller last month that he earns more than Rs 50,000 per month had set the internet ablaze with memes and jokes. Now, on a similar note, a dosa vendor has come under the limelight after a user shared a video of his interaction with him on X (formerly Twitter). This video too has gone viral. The clip in question begins with the vendor standing behind his cart. We also see glimpses of three dosas being cooked on a griddle.

While sprinkling chopped coriander on top of the dosas, the man can be heard asking the user, “Yeh Amul hi hai na dekho zara padha-likha kam hu. [I am not educated, can you please tell me if this is Amul butter]?” The moment the customer sees the butter packet and confirms that yes it is Amul.
The man continues, “Kyunki main padha likha kam hu, tab hi zada kama raha hu. Nahi to main bhi koi tees-chalis hazar ka naukri karta. [I am earning more because I am not that educated otherwise, I would also be doing some corporate job worth Rs 30,000 to 40,000].” Of course, while taking a jibe at corporate employees, he had a smile on his face.
The text on the clip reads, “Bro didn't even hesitate.” Sharing the clip, the user wrote, “Itna bhi sach nhi bolna tha uncle.”
Needless to say, the dosa seller's comments kick-started meme fest in the comments section. The replies were also flooded with laughing emoticons.
A user commented, “Khane me namak daalna tha humare zakhm pr nhi...”
Another said, “Bro roasted us all.!!!”

The pani puri seller also gave a breakdown of his earnings. He revealed that his profit is Rs 2,500 per day. Well, rest you do the math. The video was shared by a user on Instagram. So far, the video has been viewed more than 59 million times.
