Year 2020 is all about going local. This year has witnessed an increased demand for locally produced goods vis-a-vis their counterparts from abroad. Nutritionist and dietitian too stand by the thought that we need to return to our own roots in terms of food practices. The traditional foods that our ancestors would eat as a part of their daily routine are making a comeback. Whether it's a simple haldi doodh or some freshly-made ghee, this year has brought back the spotlight onto seasonal, fresh and homemade food!

The tweet received over 16.2k likes and several hundred comments and retweets. The picture shared by the user featured two big bottles full of homemade ghee, as well as a packet of freshly ground masala. Many users shared how their parents would often send over similar homemade goodies such as rice chakli.
