The video begins with Shreya cutting the rice paper disc in the shape of a flower, slicing the sheet partially along its circumference. Next, she cuts the edges in semi-circles to resemble petals. She created such rice paper flowers in two different sizes. Creating a layering effect, she uses the bigger size for the base and places the smaller one on top of it. After placing them on top of each other, Shreya used yellow-hued “cooked turmeric rice” to create the pistil of the 3D flower. For the last and final step, she deep-fried the flower. Sharing the clip, Shreya wrote, “I tried the most popular fried rice paper flowers and they are pure magic. Absolutely perfect for decorating cakes.”
