Lohri is one of the biggest festivals in India that is celebrated with much fervor. Besides lighting a bonfire, music and dance, gorging on traditional Lohri food is an essential part of the festivities. From sweet and crunchy revris and chikkis to popcorns and makki ki roti with sarson ka saag, there's so much to indulge and celebrate with on this festival. And our Bollywood celebrities love to do it all! Shilpa Shetty Kundra too celebrated Lohri with her family in Mumbai and shared some glimpses of it too on Instagram.

Shilpa took to Instagram stories to share a picture of her dinner- a plateful of makki ki roti topped with oodles of butter paired with yummy sarson ka saag besides what looked like a side of aloo beans! Yes, you heard us right! Even the fittest icon, who is an inspiration to many, was seen feasting on this seasonal delight! The sight of which is sure to leave you drooling too, have a look:

A plateful of makki ki roti topped with oodles of butter paired with yummy sarson ka saag.

She wrote on the picture '#lohricelebration #Sarsonkasaag #makkidiroti (sic)'. Sarson ka saag and makki ki roti is considered a wholesome meal that jeeps you warm in the chilly season. Saag is made with a couple of winter greens like mustard greens, methi, and spinach leaves which helps in keeping one warm and replete with nutrients.topped with white butter instead of regular butter keeps the amount of sodium low, making it good for heart. Shilpa has always been vocal about eating right and seasonal and seems like winter season is the best time to indulge in such hearty goodness!

She also later posted a video of lighting and celebrating around the bonfire with her family, including her daughter Samisha, who celebrated her first Lohri this year.
