The festival of Karwa Chauth was celebrated on 4th of November by married Hindu women across the country with much fervour. Dressed in their best, the women prayed and kept fasts for the long life of their husbands, and our Bollywood celebs were no behind. Shilpa Shetty took to Instagram to share some glimpses of the Karwa Chauth celebrations which were, like every year, hosted at Anil Kapoor's house by his wife Sunita Kapoor.

Shilpa shared an Instagram video that had the ladies doing the traditional puja and katha with their puja thalis. Shilpa also shared a picture of all the beautiful women, including Neelam Kothari Soni, Natasha Dalal and others. Later in the night, Shilpa posted an Instagram story while waiting for the moonrise, showing her decorated puja ki thali. What made us drool were the two types of mathris Shilpa included in her thali that she might've broken her fast with. Shilpa can be heard in the video saying "that is my Karwa chauth thali..my diyas ready to be lit again, meethi mathri, salty mathri underneath..yup just waiting for the moon." Look at the beautiful thali:

Don't those mathris look all things delicious!? Later, Shilpa Shetty posted another Instagram video where she was seen performing the puja to break her fast along with husband Raj Kundra, who was also fasting for Shilpa and had been doing so from past 11 years! As Shilpa wrote in her caption "Karva Chauth: Breaking the fast! Today was dedicated to the man who is a true representative of who a 'partner' should be. He fasts with me (since 11 years) stands by me through thick & thin, and makes life beautiful in the most amazing ways imaginable. Thank you for everything, @rajkundra9. I love you, Cookie! Happy Karva Chauth!"
