Started by Nathu Laal in the year 1935, Prabhu Chaat Bhandar is situated right opposite to the UPSC building in New Delhi and is popularly known as UPSC chaat vaala. Today, the stall is handled by Nathu Laal's son and grandson who have managed to keep the recipes of the Chaat intact. The Chaat Bhandar is famous for their Bharwa Gol Gappas, Bhalla Papdi, Aloo Tikki Chaat and Faluda Kulfi. Several renowned celebrities like Imtiaz Ali, Daler Mehndi and Ashish Vidyarthi have also frequented the stall.
