High Protein Diet: How To Make Suji-Paneer Upma For Weight Loss
Semolina is a healthy ingredient you can include in your diet

Highlights

  • Protein helps keep you satiated
  • Paneer is a good source of protein
  • Semolina is also known as suji or rava

Raise your hand if you have stopped your gol gappa wala in the middle to reiterate (for the 15th time) that you want the suji ones only. No, we are not judging, but we have to agree that India is in fact obsessed with suji or rava or semolina. The grain can be used to make a gamut of dishes from halwa, cheela, dosa, idli to uttapam. If you have recently started working out and dieting, you could consider including suji to your diet as it is rich in 'good carbs' or carbs that do not get digested too soon. They take their time to breakdown, which induces a feeling of fullness. Semolina is also a decent source of protein too. Protein is also known to regulate hunger hormone ghrelin, keep you full and prevent you from over-eating.
