- Boil the potatoes until tender.
- Mash the potatoes well.
- Add cornflour/potato starch and knead the dough.
- Shape the dough into small, round balls and give them a mushroom-like shape.
- Boil the potato balls until they float to the top of the water.
- Immediately transfer the boiled potato balls to ice-cold water.
- For the sauce, combine chopped garlic, chopped spring onions, red chilli powder, soy sauce, and sesame seeds in a bowl.
- Pour hot oil over the sauce mixture.
- Toss the potato balls in the sauce.
- Garnish with more spring onions and sesame seeds.
