How To Make Curry Leaves Thogayal At Home | Quick And Easy Recipe For South Indian Karuvepillai Thuvayal

Wash and then dry the curry leaves. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds, Bengal gram, urad dal and asafoetida. Next, add dry red chillies and the curry leaves. Saute and then add ginger, garlic and green chillies. Saute the ingredients for another minute and then allow to cool. Later, grind this mixture along with tamarind, grated coconut, sugar/jaggery and salt to taste. You may add a little water to get a coarse paste. Store in an airtight container and ensure it is kept in a cool and dry place. Enjoy with rice, dosas and other dishes.
