Delhi's obsession with food is an ever-growing one, and one can see more and more interesting eateries cropping up every day. From the buzzing Hauz Khas Village to a foodie's paradise that is sector-18, Noida, Delhi-NCR has no dearth of beautiful places catering to a huge population of foodies. And while south Delhi is already home to restaurants with fascinating murals and soothing vibes, Champa Gali in Saket is altogether a different world, dotted with charming cafes that are hard to miss. Tucked between coffee shops and design studios in a Parisian urban village-like setup, Pho King is a beautiful Asian restaurant that is perfect for a dinner date or a fun Sunday brunch. Located right at the entrance of Champa Gali, this cutesy outlet is sure to catch your attention.

With aesthetic Insta-worthy interiors, Pho King brings about a slice of Greece with a soothing balance of whites and blues, huge windows and an outdoor seating that is a perfect date spot for a breezy winter evening. From classic Vietnamese pho to drool-worthy mutton chelo kebabs, we sampled few dishes at this place and here are few recommendations.

We began with Vietnamese Pho, which is basically meat, veggies and noodles soup that is made using a variety of herbs. Pho King definitely knows how to get this street food dish right! With crispy sprouts and ambrosial herbs, their pho with noodles is an absolute must-try.

The Vietnamese Pho had the perfect balance of herbs, meat and veggies.

Next, we tried dumplings that had a juicy and fresh stuffing. Spicy chicken dumplings in chilli oil have a beautiful purple covering, which is stuffed with fresh chicken filling that is quite juicy. Crispy veg dumplings are equally appetising with a good amount of mushroom and cheese stuffing inside it. Pho King does a gamut of starters and we ordered teriyaki chicken rice paper rolls. With a succulent chicken and vegetable stuffing, you simply cannot resist biting into it. Basil adds a refreshing flavour to it, making it all the more delectable.

Thanks to our Indian taste buds, can we ever resist tikkas and kebabs if we see them on the menu? With options like galouti kebabs, dahi kebabs and tikkas from the grill menu, we were spoilt for choice. The server at the place came to our rescue and suggested their special mutton chelo kebabs and panch phoron fish tikkas. We noshed on them and how! Soft, succulent and bursting with rich flavours, the panch phoron fish tikka simply bowled us over with its rustic flavours. This dish turned out to be the highlight of our meal.

The Panch-Phoron Fish Tikka is a must try at Pho King.

An Iranian dish, mutton chelo kebabs were served with crispy papad over a bed of rice topped with poached egg. The kebabs were juicy and literally left us craving for more. Pho King has an elaborate main course menu with interesting options like massaman curry, stir-fry prawns/mushrooms or lamb chops and even burritos and rolls. We tried the comforting chicken/stir-fry in mountain chilli sauce. It comes with a thick sauce tossed with succulent chunks of chicken with a good mix of flavours. Don't miss out on their refreshing bubble tea that perfectly complements the entire culinary experience.

Even though we were tempted by a lot that we missed on the menu, our appetite just gave up. But we are sure to find our way back soon. Located away from the hustle of the city, Pho King is the perfect place to unwind over good food.
