But foodies received a brief shock yesterday (6th April'22, Wednesday) when the most popular food delivery services - Swiggy and Zomato - reported a technical outage! The two apps went down for an hour due to technical glitches caused by Amazon Web Services. For the unversed, Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides on-demand cloud computing platforms for many of the popular apps we use. People all across the country were not able to order food or even refresh the app!
