This recipe is divided into two parts - first, prepare the dry masala for the filling and then, stuff it in dough and fry kachoris. To begin with, let's find out how to make the dry masala for stuffing.
How To Prepare Dry Masala For Kachori:
- Heat oil and add ginger-garlic paste to it.
- Then add chilli paste, freshly chopped mint and coriander leaves in the kadhai.
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, salt and besan.
- Fry everything together until colour changes. And the masala for the kachori is ready in no time.
How To Make Masala Kachori:
- Take maida in a bowl and add salt, oil and dahi to it.
- Mix everything together and add water.
- Knead soft dough and cut small roundels out of it.
- Take each roundel, sprinkle some maida on it and roll flat.
- Wet the edges with water and add the filling.
- Tuck in the edges and give the kachori a shape.
- Now, fry till the kachori turn golden brown in colour.
Serve the masala kachoris hot with some chutney or ketchup by the side.
