“Eat-Pray-Love” - rightly sums up Anushka Sharma's Kolkata photo dump. The actress was in the City of Joy for shooting of her upcoming film 'Chakda Xpress', a sports biopic based on the life of India cricketer Jhulan Goswami. After the schedule wrap, in a series of pictures, Anushka gives us a glimpse of her stay in Kolkata. Do we have to mention that it was dominated by her foodie shenanigans?! While the first picture captures her offering prayers at Belur Math, in the second snap she is seen posing with her little one outside Kalighat temple. Now, get ready to witness the delicious food outings. It starts with Aliah phirni, and is followed by Balwant Singh ki chai, samosa, and Puti Ram ki kachori aloo. Anushka is clearly giving in to all her sweet cravings as she relishes “Mithai ke baked and regular rasgulle, Paramount ke sherbet, and Girish Dey malaai roll.”

Before this Anushka was seen gobbling down one of the most beloved Bengali food combo - ghugni and pauruti [bread].  In addition, we could spot a flatbread that resembles dosa, on her platter. Sharing a snap of the meal on her Instagram Stories, Anushka wrote, “Ghugni and bread from the Maidan canteen.” She accompanied the caption with a hashtag reading, “It's So Kolkata.” 

During her stay in the city, Anushka Sharma didn't miss to devour Kolkata's famous jhalmuri. Days ago, she shared her ‘breakfast diaries' from the sets of 'Chakda Xpress'. And, of course it kickstarted with jhalmuri. On her Instagram Stories, Anushka posted a video of a vendor preparing the mouth-watering delight with a whole lot of local spices and ingredients. “Chakda Xpress Kolkata schedule,” she captioned the clip. This was not it. Anushka also gobbled down some fresh guava, a tangy treat. Alongside the image, she wrote, “Jhalmuri and amrood. Who wants to be on my diet plan?”
