After all the snooping around her social media, we have concluded that you may take out Malaika from South India but you can't take out South India from her heart. And her latest Instagram entry screams it out loud. Malaika Arora gave us a glance at her Monday indulgence and it was all about the flavours of the South. She was seen relishing a full-fledged South Indian platter including vada, appalam, morappam, vada and half-eaten uttapam kept on a banana leaf, which is a traditional way to enjoy the cuisine.

The picture, which was shared on her Instagram stories, also gave us a glance at Malaika's furry friend Casper. Through the text on the post, Malaika complained that Casper is always eyeing her food. Well, we don't blame Casper for this.

Malaika's Arora wrote, “Casper always eyeing my food.”

We also saw Malaika Arora enjoying South Indian cuisine, on the occasion of Onam. Malaika celebrated the 10-day harvest festival at her mother's place. Dressed in a traditional ensemble, Malaika dropped a series of pictures giving us a glance at the Onam Sadhya prepared by her mother, Joyce Arora. The spread served on the banana leaf included erissery, avial, puliserry, thoran, sambar, parippu curry, kalan, payasam and others. We also saw banana chips, chutneys, pickles and other accompaniments. Next to each of the banana leaf, glasses with what looked like Kerala-style buttermilk, also known as Sambharam was kept.
