Happy International Yoga Day! It is June 21 and enthusiasts in every corner of the world are busy celebrating the occasion. International Yoga Day is an annual celebration to make people aware of the importance of this age-old practice, which finds its roots in India. Therefore, the popular dairy brand, Amul, didn't shy away from motivating the internet to indulge in yoga, in its own unique way. Celebrating International Yoga Day and giving it a foodie twist, Amul shared a topical on social media. It released a creative illustration featuring the iconic Amul girl. The topical shows the Amul girl sitting in a meditating position with her legs crossed and her eyes shut. We can also see a brick of butter kept next to her, while she holds a butter knife in her left hand. The header on the topical read, “Pehle yog, fir bhog. [First yoga then food].” The text on the footer of the topical read, “Amul. The dairy brand makes sure to celebrate crucial events. As Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated India's longest sea bridge Atal Setu in Mumbai, Amul shared a special creative for it. The illustration featured the Amul girl enjoying a drive on the Atal Setu, with a slice of bread and butter in hand. Earlier, this month Amul shared a special topical to celebrate the release of the third season of the popular show Panchayat. The Amazon Prime Video show received much love from the internet and the dairy brand also jumped on the trend in its signature style, sharing a witty topical. In the illustration, we can see all the main characters—Prahlad Pandey, Manju Devi, Sachiv Ji, Pradhan Ji, and Vikas. In the picture, the characters can be seen standing in the Panchayat office with buttered toast in their hands, while a massive cube of butter is kept on the desk.
