Massive thali challenges have been in vogue for quite some time now. Remember Pune's Bullet Thali challenge, where you could take a brand new Bullet motorcycle home after finishing a 4 Kg thali? The Motera Thali challenge had slightly different rules. You could finish the 5-ft thali in under one hour and also take help of your friends and family (not exceeding four people). The special cricket-themed menu featured yummy Gujarati delicacies like Kohli Khaman, Pandya Patra, Dhoni Khichdi, Bhuvaneshwar Bharta, Rohit Aloo Rashila, Shardul Shrikhand, Bouncer Basundi, Hattrick Gujarati dal, Bhumra Bhindi Simlamirch, Harbhajan Handvo and more. The grand thali comprised multiple portions of each dish and served up a mix of snacks, breads, appetisers and delish desserts in addition to the extravagant mains.

The Thali was introduced as part of the 'Cricket Raas' festival celebrating India's stellar row of performances against Australia and England. India is all set to face England in the T20 series starting on 12th March. The  5-match series would conclude on 18th March, post which both the sides would be prepping up for their ODI series.
