The clip of the elderly couple in Karnataka was shared on Instagram Reels by blogger duo @rakshithraiy and @_mr.swashbuckler_. In a span of just three days, the video has received over 1.3 million views and 188k likes.

The name of the eatery run by the elderly couple is Hotel Ganesh Prasad or 'Ajja Ajji mane' as it is called by locals. It is located on Rajgopal Nagar Road in Manipal, Karnataka. As per the blogger, the business has been running since 1951. The couple serves food daily from 12 pm to 3 pm in an all-you-can-eat format. For just fifty rupees, you can relish a complete meal to fill up your stomach. Rice, Rasam, Dal, Payasam, Salad, and Curd are served traditional style on a banana leaf - along with genial smiles from the couple.

Instagram users were touched and inspired to see the heartfelt video of the elderly couple from Karnataka. "Hats off to this lovely couple," wrote one user while another said, "Before every MIT exam we used to have our lunch & get blessings from ajja ajji!"
