Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja, who tied the knot in the year 2018, welcomed their first child together on August 20, 2022. They announced the news to the world through social media. The parents of the baby boy shared a heartfelt note to express their joy. "On 20.08.2022, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with bowed heads and hearts. Thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, friends and family who have supported us on this journey. It's only the beginning but we know our lives are forever changed - Sonam and Anand," the statement read. And since then, wishes are pouring in from everywhere - friends, family, fans and others.
Today (Friday, August 26, 2022), Sonam and Anand brought their baby boy home (from the hospital) at Anil Kapoor's residence in Mumbai. Internet is filled with videos and pictures of the new parents getting down from the car and entering the house, with aarti and teeka. Alongside, there is another video that has gone viral. It features Anil Kapoor with son in-law Anand Ahuja distributing packets of sweets to the police, media and paparazzi standing outside the residence.

In the video, we can see Anil Kapoor and Anand Ahuja coming out of the gate, with some helpers carrying a huge thali loaded with packets of sweets. Anand took the packets one by one and started distributing among all. People standing there were heard congratulating Anand Ahuja for embarking on the new journey of fatherhood.
