An Italian man recently set a Guinness World Record for achieving what is arguably every chef's dream. Crushing an egg directly onto a pan without any shell remnants to make the perfect omelette is undoubtedly one of the most precise tasks. However, when time is short, crushing multiple eggs at the same speed can be challenging. But one man managed to ace this challenging task in just one minute. Mario Lampugnani from Italy set the Guinness World Record by crushing 52 eggs in one minute. Moreover, he performed the task using his elbows. Mario achieved this remarkable feat on the set of Lo Show Dei Record in Milan, Italy, on February 5, 2024.
The official Instagram page of Guinness World Records posted a video from the competition featuring Mario Lampugnani's achievement. The caption read, "Most eggs crushed with elbows pointing forwards in one minute - 52 by Mario Lampugnani." In the comments section, the recordkeeper added, "What an egg-cellent achievement! One of the requirements for food-related records is that all food must be consumed - in most cases by humans, and in cases where items have been crushed, they are fed to livestock (farm animals)." Well, people were skeptical about the claim made by Guinness World Records. A user commented, "What a waste." Another user mentioned, "Bro, eggs are like $9 a dozen; why do you need to do that?" A third user wrote, "Is this useful for life? No need." A person added, "This is an insult to people who are starving (and I'm vegan, so I don't eat eggs), but this Guinness record is really a pity." Echoing a similar opinion, another user said, "Not at these egg prices!"

Not even cracking them into a pan or bowl? SMH," said another. A hilarious comment read, "How did bro discover he could do this?" Meanwhile, a section of the audience praised Mario for achieving the feat. One person said, "Incredible flexibility." Another asked, "No, because how many of us can even manage to put our elbows together?"
According to a report on the official website of Guinness World Records, Mario beat the previous record by 10 eggs.
