Popsicles are indeed a refreshing and quintessential summer treat to beat the heat. The semi-hard frozen dessert comes in an array of delicious flavours. You have to agree, the chilled taste leaves us all slurping. However, the impact of food experiments did not leave even the most cherished sweet. In a now-viral video on Instagram, a man was seen making a few DIY popsicles calling it the “newest tasty summer hack”. The ingredients? Noodles broth, meat chunks, and green-leafy salads. If you already started to question its taste, we don't blame you as social media users echo a similar sentiment.

The video begins with the man pouring a few noodle strips and some quantity of soup into a popsicle mould. He inserts a spoon into an opening and shuts it close. Repeating the process, the man then adds veggies and meat pieces to another mould. Next, the uncanny ingredient-filled popsicles are kept inside the refrigerator to freeze. After some time, the man takes out the popsicle moulds and opens the cone-shaped cap. It reveals a rather bizarre-looking frozen salad-cum-soup popsicle. The man takes a bite and seems to enjoy his unique creation. The video garnered over 2.1 million views.

Foodies, however, were not quite impressed by the snacky popsicle and reacted to the video unfavourably. “Do you think God stays in heaven because he too is afraid of what he has created?” read a sarcastic comment.
“Why would anyone want frozen chicken noodle soup?” questioned a person, underling their astonishment.
“If I ever get handed frozen soup I'll de-evolve into an Australopithecus and start biting people,” joked someone else.
An individual highlighted that the Instagram reel was the reason that forced them to put their “phone down for the day.”
Many opined that the man must go “Straight to jail”
A food enthusiast called the popsicle “illegal”
“Just because you can doesn't mean you should,” pointed out an Instagrammer.
