Relishing local street food is definitely a must while visiting a different city. Don't you agree? Well, at least Tamannaah Bhatia does. The actress has often revealed her foodie side to her fans. Tamannaah was in Kolkata recently due to some work commitments. Obviously, she dug into some classic snacks of the city and also made it a point to share her indulgences on social media.  First things first, Tamannaah Bhatia relished some jhalmuri. The Bengali word 'jhal' means spicy and ‘muri' stands for puffed rice or what some call 'murmura'. Now, jhalmuri is prepared by mixing murmura with spices, boiled potatoes, onion, and chanachur (a Bengali version of sev), among other things. You can also call it a distant cousin of bhelpuri.

Of course, Tamannaah Bhatia was not leaving Kolkata without trying the famous puchka. Dressed in a black-and-white formal pantsuit, the actress was seen gobbling down a loaded puchka. Her expressions were enough for us to guess how much she enjoyed the popular street food. “Was not leaving this city without trying a #puchka,” read Tamannaah's caption.
