The House Of Celeste- A One-Stop Destination For All Your 'Desi' Cravings
Enjoy a bright and sunny weekend brunch here!

If you are anything like us then those soft and tender galouti kebabs from Lucknow and spicy chicken/mutton ghee roast from Mangalore are enough to satisfy our foodie soul and make us grin. We make sure to try these delicacies whenever we visit those places. But travelling to different cities just for food is never a feasible idea for most of us. Hence, we are in constant search for alternative options in our vicinity serving these amazing regional delicacies. What if we tell you, we have found a perfect place to satisfy all your cravings!

The House Of Celeste - located at the newest food hub 32nd Milestone in Gurgaon - is one amazing restaurant that one must explore. And we will give you a string of reasons to keep it on your checklist.

Ambience:

Stationed amidst a cluster of upscale bars, cafes and bistros, The House of Celeste attracts every visitor with its chic décor and quite ambience. You get both indoor and outdoor sitting options at the restaurant and trust us both the spaces have their own share of charm and beauty. The outdoor space (amidst greens) is perfect to enjoy a family brunch on a bright sunny day or to meet friends for drinks during the evening. On the other hand, you can go for the indoor setup to relish a cozy candle-light dinner with your special one.

Food and Drinks:

The House Of Celeste offers a specially curated menu that includes dishes from almost every regional cuisine across India - from nihari to butter chicken. With fine plating and presentation and authentic flavours, they provide a modern take on the classic dishes of India.

We recently walked into the restaurant for a weekend lunch to find a moderately-occupied place. We started out with phuchka pebbles served on a sooji-atta tart that provided a burst of flavours to our palate. A splash of spicy and tangy tamarind water inside our mouth was enough to set the tone for the meal.

We also tried Calcutta beet balls that were basically a lip-smacking twist given to the Bengali veg chop, with infusion of some goat cheese. Then we went for South Indian raw banana vadai - served with Madras gunpowder and tomato chutney, chicken shikampuri kebab, mutton sheek kebab with Kashmiri bakarkhani and mushroom galawat. This mushroom galawat is basically a super delicious veggie version of the popular mutton galouti kebab that was served with in-house crunchy walnut khakra; and we absolutely loved it.

We also enjoyed a soothing bowl of Ladakhi thukpa that was served soft veg dumplings and crispy noodles. Given the nippy weather, this dish was an absolute delight.

Moving on to the main course, we tried the UP's popular street-style dal that was accompanied with Jaipur's special churchur naan. Boiled yellow moong topped with onion, tomato, green chutney and imli water, this dal was a treat to remember.

Then came a South Indian style soya chettinad, Mangalorean chicken ghee roast and the popular Nihari. These delicious dishes were accompanied by butter garlic naan, Malabar parotta and khamiri roti respectively. We must say every dish retained its authentic flavours and aroma to the fullest.

This soul satisfying meal seemed incomplete without some desserts at the end. So we thought of going for the authentic jalebi-rabdri platter that was served with some apple murabbas. Crunchy jalbei, dunked in creamy rabdi spells indulgence!

Finally, we tried some of their in-house gelato (honey-lemon-ginger gelato, gulkand-coconut gelato and gur-date gelato) and ended our weekend lunch with a smile on the face.

So, if you are looking for a food place with good vibes and great food, we suggest, you can give The House of Celeste a try!
