Indore, the culinary capital of Madhya Pradesh, is famous for its vibrant street food culture. The food bazaars draw crowds from not just the city but from all over the country. Its epithet of being one of the cleanest cities in India extends to its food markets. In 2021, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India awarded the 'Clean Street Food Hub' tag to two popular markets 'Sarafa Bazaar' and '56 Dukan'.
