Tips To Remember While Making Seyal Dabal:

  1. Cut the bread into roughly bite-sized pieces. Since it will be ultimately cooked and mixed with many other ingredients, you don't need to ensure it's neatly chopped. If you're using slice bread, you might want to remove the edges if you don't want a chewy texture later. (But some people might prefer it).
  2. If you don't have tomato, you can use tamarind pulp to add sourness to the base of this dish.
  3. If you want to make it more interesting for kids or guests, you can even give it a fusion twist by topping it with cheese, sev or chopped cashew nuts.
