2. Promotes Weight Loss

Dr. Anju Sood explains, "Fibre takes the slowest to digest, which contributes to the sense of being full for a longer period of time. This keeps you from bingeing on other fattening meals, which saves you a lot of calories." Also, fibre stimulates your digestive system, which helps you maintain a healthy weight.

Jowar Pizza Recipe: How To Make Jowar Pizza

  • To begin with, take a large mixing bowl in which you can knead the dough. Add all the dry ingredients and knead the dough by adding lukewarm water and a bit of oil.
  • Take a frying pan (off heat), put the dough inside it and stretch it from all the corners. This is done to give it a good shape and texture.
  • Take a fork and prick the base all over. Then, rub some oil on top and cook for 5-6 minutes, covered. Reduce the heat from medium to low and then flip the base.
  • For the toppings, spread pizza sauce all over the base. Add in your preferred veggies or any protein you like. Paneer, chicken, pepperoni or anything!

Top it over with feta cheese and cover the lid until the cheese melts. If you are using an oven to prepare the pizza, bake it at 400 F.
