She also shared how giving up on dairy products benefitted her overall health. Then there were some Insta-stories that featured her healthy homemade foods, substituting all the decadent delicacies. Keeping up with the tradition, the 'Masaba Masaba' actor took to Instagram to share that she is currently on a no-sugar diet. For the unversed, a no-sugar diet restricts the consumption of added sugar completely. It is also referred to as a sugar-free diet.

Masaba took to the photo-sharing app to pen a heartfelt note on her struggles during the regime and how she overcame them.

"Just completed 21 days off refined sugar. And I cannot believe I did," she wrote. Masaba went on to say that the 17th and the 18th day of the 21-day regime were the hardest as her body was addicted to desserts, chocolates and all other "nonsense". According to her, these sinful indulgences were affecting her gut health. Hence, "You kinda have to cut the cord overnight. Not even a piece of dark chocolate or substitutes like honey/jaggery cakes. Nothing," she mentions.
