Shared on his handle @cook_oranji, the video has gone viral and received over 4.3 million views and 277k likes. In the clip, chef Kim was cooking a Korean-style steamed egg. He revealed that he was going to introduce the recipe to his fans and followers on Instagram when the audio botched up. "Actually, there was a problem with the sound of the video, so I narrated it in Hindi," he revealed in the caption of the clip.

In the short recipe video, chef Kim carefully narrates each step in Hindi. "Pehle Zucchini cut karenge," he says followed by, "Teen anda todenge." Instagram users from India were delighted with his Hindi speaking attempt, and they showered praises in the comments section in huge numbers. "You're speaking hindi very clearly. I appreciate," commented one fan. "Your Hindi is 'bahut pyara'. Looking forward for such yum yum easy dishes," wrote another user.

This is not the only Korean person to have created a stir online. In the recent past, a Korean woman was caught on camera teaching her son Hindi. The duo also savoured one of the favourite desi snacks, especially devoured during monsoon - the humble Pakora.
