Now we know why our grandmothers always munched on these. In fact, when trying to eat healthy, it is always a good option to start from our roots. Healthy superfoods like Makhanas, Jackfruits, Moringas, Curry leaves, Turmeric are locally found and sometimes get lost under the bling of international ingredients.

Pooja has started out a series of posts labelled ‘Indian superfood battle' where she talks about these local home-grown superfoods which have a long list of benefits and are easily available. In another video under the ‘Indian superfood battle' tag, she talks about the goodness and forgotten benefits of the humble curry leaves.
