Subway is kicking off the new year with a sweet surprise – introducing footlong churros to their menu. As part of its Subway sidekicks dessert initiative, the fast-food sandwich chain is offering a variety of footlong treats. The star of the show is the Cinnabon foot-long churro, priced at just $2. This marks the first time churros have graced Subway's menu in its 59-year history. Joining the historic churro addition, the Subway sidekicks menu also includes footlong cookies available for $5, and an Auntie Anne's footlong pretzel, priced at $3 and served with Subway's honey mustard sauce. It is a sweet start to the year for Subway enthusiasts looking to satisfy their dessert cravings.

Subway has officially announced that the footlong churros, cookies, and pretzels on their dessert menu are not limited-time items, according to a recent press release. These delightful additions have been available for order since Monday, January 22.
"The introduction of Sidekicks builds on six decades of equity and expertise in all things footlong," said Douglas Fry, president of Subway, North America. "This whole new category on our menu offers Subway fans something they can't get anywhere else and kicks off a year of culinary innovation and delicious new menu items. 2024 may be the most exciting chapter yet in our growth story."
Subway wrote on their Instagram handle: “We say run, don't walk, to try their Cinnabon Churro, Auntie Anne's Pretzel, and the classic Chocolate Chip Cookie, all a foot long and served warm, available now nationwide.”
The introduction of Subway's footlong desserts has sparked a mixed response on the Internet.
