The video was shared on Twitter by user @WilhelmDerErste, who described it as 'Absolutely Cursed'. The recipe for Honeycomb Pasta was widely shared on multiple social media platforms. It garnered over 1.7 million views on Twitter in a span of one week.

In the short 59-second clip, we can see blogger and food content creator Anna Rothfuss creating a unique Honeycomb Pasta dish in aluminium tin. She starts by inserting pieces of string cheese inside tube-like pasta, which had been arranged in a way that it resembled a honeycomb. Then, she pours a jar of Marinara sauce on top. She proceeds to add pieces of meat and grated mozzarella cheese, and then pops the dish in the oven to bake. The resulting 'Honeycomb Pasta' was then cut like a pie and served in a plate.

The interesting Honeycomb pasta dish definitely got Twitter users to sit up and take notice. Some called the dish 'disgusting' and wanted more seasoning to be added to it. Others had an issue with the uncooked Marinara sauce added to the recipe. However, the ingredients of the Honeycomb dish were seemingly normal for most users, who did not think the dish was 'cursed' or out of the blue. Several pointed out that it was similar to the usual Italian lasagna recipe. Others also said that this long, tubular pasta was actually called Ziti.
