There is no dearth of strange and weird content on the internet. Every now and then, we see bizarre food combinations created by companies, food bloggers and even chefs. Users on the internet have a hard time digesting these eccentric food items. Recently, for instance, a bizarre picture of Chyawanprash-filled cookie rolls had taken the internet by surprise. And now, 'Honeycomb Pasta' is the latest bizarre food creation which has left Twitter confused. Take a look at the video which is now going viral:

The video was shared on Twitter by user @WilhelmDerErste, who described it as 'Absolutely Cursed'. The recipe for Honeycomb Pasta was widely shared on multiple social media platforms. It garnered over 1.7 million views on Twitter in a span of one week.
In the short 59-second clip, we can see blogger and food content creator Anna Rothfuss creating a unique Honeycomb Pasta dish in aluminium tin. She starts by inserting pieces of string cheese inside tube-like pasta, which had been arranged in a way that it resembled a honeycomb. Then, she pours a jar of Marinara sauce on top. She proceeds to add pieces of meat and grated mozzarella cheese, and then pops the dish in the oven to bake. The resulting 'Honeycomb Pasta' was then cut like a pie and served in a plate.
The interesting Honeycomb pasta dish definitely got Twitter users to sit up and take notice. Some called the dish 'disgusting' and wanted more seasoning to be added to it. Others had an issue with the uncooked Marinara sauce added to the recipe. However, the ingredients of the Honeycomb dish were seemingly normal for most users, who did not think the dish was 'cursed' or out of the blue. Several pointed out that it was similar to the usual Italian lasagna recipe. Others also said that this long, tubular pasta was actually called Ziti.

the problem I have with this is the use of string cheese and the fact she didn't cook that sauce before she just dumped it there— Marsh #BLM (@MarshNotAPro) April 4, 2021
I have a hard time believing somebody her size can eat something like that! I think I put on 5 pounds watching the video ????????— Green Party NOW (@Antifa4Life_BLM) April 4, 2021
What I'm getting from your tweet is, "I'm a food snob." There's nothing wrong with what she made. It looks ridiculously good. You can use different jarred sauces, different meats, different cheeses...
If it's the quantity, use a smaller springform pan.— βɛth (@feverspell) April 4, 2021
it's literally vertical lasagna, stop ruining the word "cursed"— Rob DenBleyker (@RobDenBleyker) April 4, 2021

It's just a weird lasagna, what do you have against lasagna?— FuckingIdiotBoi (@ScergyBoi) April 4, 2021
...whats wrong with it? It's an easy to make baked ziti. Easy for those of us that don't enjoy cooking or just don't have the spoons to— ????Krissy???? (@KrissyInColor) April 4, 2021
