This easy recipe by food vlogger Manjula Jain will let you make this Holi delicacy at home with a colourful twist. This peda is infused with the rich flavour of kesar (saffron). Usually, kesar peda is made with milk khoya, sugar and cardamom (elaichi); this kesar peda can be a unique addition to your festive menu. The recipe video from YouTube channel 'Manjula's Kitchen' shows step-by-step method of preparing this Holi-special peda at home. Soak saffron in warm water. Heat heavy cream and milk in a pan. Mix and keep stirring till it becomes a thick batter. Mix other ingredients and make smooth but grainy dough. This dough or milk khoya is used to make small and round pedas.
