Every day we wake up to a new recipe trending on social media. Most of these recipes are actually pretty good if you do try them. The latest one to catch everyone's attention is that of baked feta pasta - pasta cooked with feta cheese and cherry tomatoes in an oven, and baked to perfection. This feta cheese pasta has gone so popular across the internet that several people tried making it at home, and most of them succeeded too. It is a very simple recipe that whips up a pretty-looking white and red-coloured dish that can attract people of all ages.
Food artist Jenni Hayrinen claims to have coined the recipe idea in the first place. She even posted the picture of the dish on her Instagram account and wrote - "I woke up to speculation on who is the original creator of viral #uunifetapasta recipe. I'm the original creator of uunifetapasta recipe that went viral. I was the first person to ever use that hashtag which is the Finnish word for 'Baked Feta Pasta'. You know this because you were the first ones to cook it.

Among the many people who tried the baked feta pasta was Jules Sebastian, wife of singer Guy Sebastian. She was generous enough to post a video of the entire cooking process of this famous dish on her Instagram handle.

To make the viral feta cheese pasta, grease a baking dish and line with butter paper. Place a huge brick of feta cheese surrounded with lots of cherry tomatoes and unpeeled garlic. Then drizzle with olive oil and oregano, and bake in the oven. Meanwhile, boil your favourite pasta and later combine with the baked cheese and tomatoes. Garnish with herbs of your choice.
