Ingredients:

  • 200 gms fresh button mushroom
  • 2 tbsps oil
  • 1 tsp garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp green chilli, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp ginger, chopped
  • 1 onion, cubed
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Water as required
  • 1 tbsp tamarind paste
  • 1 tomato, cubed
  • 1/2 cup spring onion, chopped
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tbsp coriander, chopped
  • Salt to taste

  1. Cut fresh button mushroom in half.
  2. Heat oil on a non stick tawa.
  3. Fry garlic, green chilli, onion and mushroom for 5 minutes.
  4. Add powdered spices and salt. Pour some water to mix spices well.
  5. Add tamarind paste, tomato and spring onion.
  6. Cook for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Squeeze half a lemon and garnish with fresh coriander.
